本週12月7日的空英課程主題是 Friends, Family and Money (親兄弟明算帳)，敘述到發生財務危機時，家人與朋友可以提供極為重要的支援，惟人際關係卻容易因為金錢而被破壞，尤其是當彼此的期待不同時。文中設計幾個狀況，探討解決方式。

Mixing money and personal relationships can create all kinds of discomfort. Money talks, but make sure it doesn't stop your relatives and friends from talking to you!

人與人之間的關係也許會因為金錢的緣故而發生什麼事？你認識哪個人因為金錢而危害到他與別人的關係嗎？你認為借錢給別朋友或親人，是好主意或壞主意？

11月16日的主題--International Justice Mission IJM,國際公義宣教組織

本週11月16日的空英課程主題是 International Justice Mission (IJM,國際公義宣教組織)，敘述蓋瑞‧郝根律師如何運用其專業協助受害者脫困。
For lawyer Gary Haugen, the world’s injustice (Widows have no defense against neighbors stealing their land, and police can imprison or beat innocent people without fear of punishment.) fueled his passion to make a difference. The first goal of IJM founded by Gary Haugen in 1997 is always to relieve the victim’s suffering. Another goal is helping those rescued overcome the trauma they experienced. IJM believes that all people are made in the image of God, who loves them and wants to protect them.

11月2日新課程--The Dangers of Stress 壓力危害面面觀

11月起我們將使用新課程教材「A Closer Look II 生活與聖經 」，計有International Justice Mission國際公義宣教組織、Friends, Family and Money親兄弟明算帳、Agree to Disagree尊重歧見…等8課，深入檢視生活中一些問題，透過從上頭來的智慧，增進英文字彙能力與會話技巧，並帶給您新的生命意義。

導致壓力和壓力的徵兆有哪些？為什麼我們不需要擔心或害怕？與其焦慮不安，我們應該做什麼？歡迎大家來與我們一起探討壓力的問題，並尋找釋放壓力的方法！

You will know false prophets by what they do. Anyone who hears these words of Jesus' and obeys them is like a wise man who built his house on rock. The rain poured down, the rivers flooded over, and the wind blew hard against that house. But it did not fall, because it was built on rock. For God has already placed Jesus Christ as the one and only foundation, and no other foundation can be laid.
