1月3日的空英課程主題是 Gratitude（感恩的心）。

What are you grateful for? About how many times each day do you say “thank you” to someone? Remembering to say “thank you,” even for a very small favor, is important. It can make someoneʼs day. It can be a step towards fixing a broken relationship. Thinking about what is good in every situation can create a spirit of true gratitude in our hearts. And having a grateful heart can change the way we look at our lives. It can turn a little into enough, a meal into a feast, a stranger into a friend.

你為哪些事感恩？你一天大約對人說幾次「謝謝你」？記得在即使是很小的事上說「謝謝你」是很重要的。它可能讓人一整天都非常高興。它也可能是撫平一段破碎關係的開始。思想在每個環境中所存有的好處能在我們心中創造出一顆感恩的心。存著感恩的心更可以改變我們看自己生命的角度，它可使一點點變成足夠，一餐飯變盛筵，陌生人變朋友。

12月6日的主題-- Contentment 知足常樂

12月6日的空英課程主題是 Contentment（知足常樂）。

Are you content with your life? Why or why not?
Studies show that people in poorer countries tend to be more content than people in richer countries.
If this is true, then money is obviously not the secret to contentment.
No matter how much we have, there always seems to be something we want and canʼt get.
Contentment does not mean having everything we want, or even everything we need.
Contentment is being happy with what you have and who you are.

你對你的生活感到滿足嗎？為什麼（不）？
研究顯示，在較窮困國家裡的人比在富有國家的人更感到滿足。如果這是真的話，那麼金錢顯然不是令人感到知足的祕訣。
不論我們擁有的有多少，我們總是還有所求而得不到的東西。知足並不意味說我們都到我們想要的，或是我們所需要的每樣東西。知足乃是以我們所有的、所是的而感快樂。

11月15日的主題-- Living With Purpose 活出目的

11月15日的空英課程主題是 Living With Purpose（活出目的）。

Do you ever feel like the world has too many people, and there is no special job, or purpose designed just for you?
你是否曾覺得這世界上有太多的人，卻沒有一個專屬於你的特定工作，或目的呢？

A famous writer (William Ellery Channing) once said, “Each of us is meant to be what no other can be, and do what no other can do.” Do you agree? How can we be sure of our purpose in life?
一個著名的作家威廉‧艾勒瑞‧詹寧曾這麼說：「要成為他人所不能之人，成就他人所不能之事。」你同意這個說法嗎？如何確認我們生命的目的呢？

God has a different plan for everyone, but he wants us all to have the same purpose. That purpose is very simple; he wants us to love him and let him “work for good” in our lives.
神對每個人都有不同的計畫，但是祂希望我們所有人都有同樣的目的。那份目的非常簡單—祂希望我們愛祂，並且允許祂在我們生命中「使萬事互相效力」。

The Lord has made everything for his own purpose.

11月1日的主題--Truth 真理

11月1日的空英課程主題是 Truth(真理)。

“A lie has a short life, but truth lives on forever.” Do you agree with this proverb? What do you think it means?
The question, “What is truth?” is a question philosophers throughout the ages have been asking.
Is truth based only on what we see? Or is there a greater truth that governs all moral choices and actions?
Jesus answered him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. (John 14:6a)
Jesus died to save us all. But we must make the choice to believe in Him and accept the gift of life He offers us.
What is your choice?

「撒謊的舌頭瞬息即逝；誠實的嘴唇永垂不朽。」你同意這句箴言嗎?你認為它是甚麼意思?
歷代以來，哲學家們一直在問：「甚麼是真理?」。

10月18日的主題--Integrity 正直

10月18日的空英課程主題是 Integrity (正直)。

正直即誠實的意思，它具有堅定不移的道德原則。我們在朋友身上尋找這樣的特質，也希望自己擁有正直的品格。但在現實環境中，我們達到完美正直的標準了嗎?有時候說實話很難。你的人生若毫無保留地敞開在眾人面前，你的行為會有所不同嗎?
Integrity is defined as the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles that you refuse to change. It is a quality we look for in friends and hope for in ourselves. But in reality, how well do we live up to the ideal of integrity? Sometimes it is not convenient to tell the truth. How would you behave differently if your whole life was on camera for everyone to see?

Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out. The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them.
行正直路的，步步安穩；走彎曲道的，必致敗露。正直人的純正必引導自己；奸詐人的乖僻必毀滅自己。

9月20日的主題--Priorities 優先秩序

9月20日的空英課程主題是 Priorities (優先秩序)。

What are the most important things in your life? We only have a limited amount of time each day. How do we know which things we should put first? God, our family, friends, schoolwork, jobs, health needs, other interests? Sometimes it’s difficult to decide. We may have trouble choosing which things need our attention most. So how can we develop the right priorities?
你生命中哪些事情最重要？我們每天的時間都有限。我們如何知道應先處理哪些事情？上帝、家庭、朋友、課業、工作、健康需求、其他興趣？有時很難決定。我們也許很難決定該先關注哪些事。那麼我們要如何建立正確的優先秩序？

Be wise enough not to wear yourself out trying to get rich. Your money can be gone in a flash, as if it had grown wings and flown away like an eagle. Don’t be envious of sinful people; let reverence for the Lord be the concern of your life.
不要勞碌求富，休仗自己的聰明。你豈要定睛在虛無的錢財上嗎？因錢財必長翅膀，如鷹向天飛去。你心中不要嫉妒罪人，只要終日敬畏耶和華。

Do not store up riches for yourselves here on earth, where moths and rust destroy, and robbers break in and steal. Instead, store up riches for yourselves in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and robbers cannot break in and steal. For your heart will always be where your riches are. Do not be worried about the food and drink you need in order to stay alive, or about clothes for you body. After all isn’t life worth more than food? And isn’t the body worth more than clothes? So do not start worrying: Where will my food come from? Or my drink? Or my clothes?
不要為自己積攢財寶在地上；地上有蟲子咬，能銹壞，也有賊挖窟窿來偷。只要積攢財寶在天上；天上沒有蟲子咬，不能銹壞，也沒有賊挖窟窿來偷。因為你的財寶在哪裏，你的心也在那裏。所以我告訴你們，不要為生命憂慮吃甚麼，喝甚麼；為身體憂慮穿甚麼。生命不勝於飲食嗎？身體不勝於衣裳嗎？所以，不要憂慮說，吃甚麼？喝甚麼？穿甚麼？

9月6日的主題--Loneliness 寂寞

9月6日的空英課程主題是 Loneliness (寂寞)。

造成寂寞的原因有哪些？當你感到寂寞時，通常會做什麼事？每個人都有寂寞的時候。如果你進入一個新學校、搬到一個新城市，或是開始一個新的工作，你或許會感到無法跟每個人都相處融洽。
你可能會想，「如果我有個好朋友就好了」，或是「如果我有個男朋友或女朋友就好了」，或是「如果我的家人能多陪陪我，我就永遠不會再寂寞了」。但是即使你有很棒的家庭、最好的朋友或男朋友或女朋友，他們也無法一直陪伴在你身旁。我們要如何避免寂寞，即使是獨自一人？

What are some causes of loneliness? What do you usually do when you feel lonely? Everyone feels lonely sometimes.
If you go to a new school, move to a new city, or start a new job, you might feel like you don’t fit in with everyone else. You might think, "If only I had a best friend," or, "If only I had a boyfriend/girlfriend." or "If only my family spent more time with me, I would never be lonely again." But even if you have a wonderful family, best friend or boyfriend/girlfriend, they can’t be with you all the time. How can we keep from feeling lonely, even if we are alone?

神在他的聖所作孤兒的父，作寡婦的伸冤者。神叫孤獨的有家，使被囚的出來享福。

Father to the fatherless, defender of widows – this is God, whose dwelling is holy. God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy.

8月16日的主題--Courage 勇氣

8月16日的空英課程主題是 Courage (勇氣)。

什麼事會讓你害怕？是想到要搬到新的城市或是擔心失去工作？還是自己的死亡或家人的離世？
在有些國家，人民擔心恐怖主義和戰爭可能會發生。改變、艱難、危險、死亡——我們更需要有勇氣去面對生命中的這些挑戰。
What makes you afraid? The thought of moving to a new city or losing your job? What about your own death or the death of a loved one? In some countries people are afraid of the possibility of terrorism and war. Changes, hardships, danger, death—we could all use more courage to face some of these challenges in life.

If you are afraid of something, remember God's promises and put your trust in him. He has promised He will never leave you, and He will always provide for you. He has also promised that if you put your faith in Him, you will live with Him forever when you die.

Be strong, be courageous, all you that hope in the Lord. (Psalm 31:24)
